Teaching Design & Art

As a textile designer and artist, I have always believed in empowering the next generation to take up creative professions. It has been my endeavor to impart the knowledge that I have gathered over the years and enable interested students to explore and find their own pathway. I have been teaching design and art at various levels in the education sector. From post-graduate and under-graduate students to school children as well as underprivileged children, my enthusiasm for teaching is not limited by any boundaries. As a textile artist, I have taught at international universities such as University of Portsmouth as well as prestigious institutions such as National Institute of Design, Pearl Academy and others. Students from across the world have been part of my classes. Even during my residency at Hochschule Luzern, I got the opportunity to discuss and present my work as an Indian with the students there. I have also worked with social organizations such as Art Reach India wherein I have conducted long term workshops with underprivileged children. Some images of the various sessions can be seen on this page.
